HYDRAULIC OIL ON TRUCKS

OUR EXPERIENCED CREW
We could take the easy way out here and explain that our technicians are heavy-equipment trained and we guarantee that they will repair and install your hoses to better than factory specs. But frankly, that’s what “they all” say, and it just simply doesn’t scratch the surface in explaining who we are.
While all of that is important and true (even the guarantee) we’re not the type to take the easy way. Which is perhaps the first step in explaining why our crew dominates the competition.
It’s a little tricky to put in to words, but in a nutshell, we’re simply the men you want showing up on your work site.
Just like we’re the guys you hope drive by when your car breaks down on the side of the road. And the buddy you call when you need help moving. We’re that guy.
We’re military men and fathers. We’re dirt bikes and carburetors. We’re Waylon and Willie with a touch of Metallica for good measure. We love our country, we love our families, we love ice cold beer and backyard barbeques and we love a good day of hard work.
Our crew is all that, backed up with a solid business foundation, remarkable front-end management and the latest in technology, all wrapped up in a firm handshake.
Owner/President
Authentic. Driven. Competitive. Purist. Ask anyone who knows Wil Lumpkin to name a few words to describe him and you’re bound to get a couple of those words on their list. Well, on one of their lists. Because to describe Wil from one direction would be overlooking a whole slew of traits that you might not initially see. He’s the epitome of multi-faceted; he’s like his own identical twin. Triplet, maybe. He might look the same, but there are slight differences that you’ll catch on to if you spend enough time around him.
From one angle, he’s a good ol’ Southern boy with a penchant for pickin’ guitars, riding dirt bikes, throwing back a couple ice cold Budweisers, while working in the yard and playing weekend softball games.
From another you might see a UGA graduate who’s now a family man, who dedicates some of his free time to coaching his son’s baseball team.
And then there’s the professional Wil: still the Southern Boy, still the family man, but with a fire in his belly that drives his deep desire for success. Not success at any cost, but success by being the best in the industry while still remaining authentic and letting his moral compass always guide his way through business matters.
Because his dad, Bill, was the founder of Lumpkin Industries doesn’t mean that Wil just slid in to his position as President. After all, there are not many people who have over 30 years of on-the-job training!
When he’s not dedicating his time and talents to the world of hydraulic hoses, he’s a dedicated husband and father to wife, Bonnie and son, William.
Accounting Manager
Having the distinct designation of being the only human with two X chromosomes at Lumpkin Industries, Bonnie’s role among all that testosterone could be a tricky one for some women. But not Bonnie. Just because her boots aren’t steel-toed doesn’t mean they weren’t made for walkin’! And speaking of her attire, how about the dozen hats she wears? If something happens at Lumpkin Industries, there’s a good chance Bonnie played a role in it. She’s the grease (hydraulic fluid, if you will) that keeps things running smoothly around here. The accountant, the insurance specialist, the receptionist, the first person you ask when you need ab.so.lutely anything. She’s our answer girl.
Her 18 years of administrative duties at Tyson Foods put her in a position to almost single-handedly run the front-end operations of Lumpkin Industries. If you’re lucky enough to come in the front door, it’s her fresh-faced, sparkly-eyed, smiling face that will greet you.
When she’s not babysitting a group of grown men at work, she likes to take a particular one of them home with her (you do the math) and they hang out with their son, William and their dogs, Hutch and Sarah.
Vice President
We’re pretty sure that the term “Jack of all trades” was first coined after someone spent some time with Dave Kundrat. But his insistence on anonymity and refusal to take credit and be in the spotlight forced them to use “Jack” instead.
There are few as dependable as Dave when it comes to, well, just about anything. From ensuring thorough customer satisfaction, sourcing, and buying product, fixing absolutely anything that needs fixin’, and playing the role of resident IT guy. We’re not really sure where he garnered all these talents but having a military career that included driving M-88 tanks (the same type that pulled down the Saddam Hussein statue) couldn’t have hurt. His mechanical genius, resourcefulness and no fear attitude make him the right hand to our success. At home, he’s the strong right hand to his lovely wife, Nikki, and the shoulders that his young son Cameron rides upon.
Division Manager
Standing at 6’5”, not only does Tim stand head and shoulder above most in terms of actual height, his technical knowledge of the industry places him just over the top of the rest of us, as well. This expertise makes him invaluable in managing the Hydraulic division of our business.
Affectionately known as our computer geek, Tim was a logical choice when we were looking for a systems engineer. There are few as mellow as big Tim, but don’t let his demeanor fool you; when he’s got a little time on his hands, he likes to build and race cars and isn’t afraid to take one into the wall at 120 mph!
His pursuits with Lumpkin do not start and end with the business, though; he also married the founder’s only daughter!
Tim and Heather make their home right here in Cumming. Personal Tip: If you’re the masochistic type, spend an evening playing trivia with Tim. You’re sure to get a mental beat down you won’t soon forget!

Josh Geers wants you to know that HE beat Jacob Chmura at cornhole.
Josh grew up in Canton, Georgia, is an all-around “company man,” a loyal and unassuming type who values dedication above all else. He might be a bit reserved, but his competitive spirit shines through when it matters—especially on the golf course or in beating Jacob at cornhole. His musical taste leans heavily toward country and bluegrass, and he’s a skilled saxophonist who’s been known to strum a few chords on his Fender guitar from time to time.
Josh has a knack for fixing things, from pumps to engines to electrical components, and he’s a master of troubleshooting. His biggest adventure to date was a 3,300-mile road trip up the East Coast, without a single stop planned in advance, a journey that highlights his love of exploring new places and solving challenges as they come.
He’s proud of shooting par and in case you haven’t heard, has even bested his friend Jacob at cornhole (an achievement he doesn’t take lightly). Quiet yet fiercely competitive, Josh is a skilled tradesman who can turn his hand to just about anything—welding, carpentry, plumbing—you name it. Honest as the day is long, he’s a genuine guy who gives his all, both to his work and to those he cares about.

Brad Espe hails from Marietta, Georgia, where he grew up with a strong sense of community, a fondness for Southern rock, and a loyalty to all things UGA football. He’s a devoted fan of the Allman Brothers and enjoys unwinding with their music after a busy day.
Brad’s idea of a good time includes playing baseball, catching a football game, or setting up camp for the weekend. One of his more memorable adventures involved jumping off a 60-foot cliff into the water below—an act that he claims was entirely logical at the time, although he may chuckle now at his youthful bravado. Brad also appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s “Going Home with Tyler Cameron” where he completed 9 renovations in 9 months!
When he’s not cheering on the Bulldogs, Brad can usually be found working on his latest vehicle restoration project, a pastime he’s remarkably passionate about. His commitment to breathing new life into old cars is nothing short of remarkable.
Outside of work, Brad is a devoted father, an enthusiastic DIYer, and an aspiring pickleballer, eager to hone his skills on the court. He’s a down-to-earth, salt-of-the-earth kind of guy—loyal to his family, his team, and his love for life’s simple pleasures.

Shawn Patterson is a character one might imagine straight out of an adventure novel, though his hometown of Tampa, Florida, might not immediately evoke images of danger and derring-do. Growing up here, he discovered his “singing voice,” but only in the shower, where he performs an exclusively rock-heavy repertoire of Metallica and Led Zeppelin hits. Outdoors, Shawn is more comfortable casting a line, hiking, or trekking along trails, probably while humming along to one of his favorite tunes.
One of his more daring escapades involved exiting a 20-story building in NYC… from the window, a feat that seems all the more impressive when he adds, almost as an afterthought, that he has a fear of heights. At work, Shawn is the backbone of our in-house hose repair service, as much a fixture in the hydraulic hose business as the hoses themselves. He’s a 35-year veteran in the field, which means there are few—if any—questions he can’t answer, and his dedication has seen the business thrive since he came on board. He’s raised a family on his own and seems to handle everything with a calm, steady resolve. A true company man, Shawn’s as loyal and hardworking as they come, dedicated to providing top-notch service to each and every customer who walks through the door.

Mack Hobby’s roots are firmly planted in Auburn, Alabama, where he grew up with a strong sense of Southern grit and charm. Mack has a deep appreciation for The Rolling Stones, who are, he insists, best enjoyed with a generous side of good company and maybe a cold drink.
Mack’s favorite pastimes include golf, cooking, and spending time outdoors. In fact, one of his proudest adventures was flying to Florida for a single-day fishing trip—a spontaneous undertaking that may or may not have involved a bit of friendly competition.
When it comes to his wildest moment, Mack might mention a bungee jump, which he claims was exhilarating but “maybe not something I’ll do again.”
Mack’s work ethic and years of experience in hydraulic hose repair have earned him a solid reputation among customers and colleagues alike. He’s the kind of guy who’d lend a hand to anyone in need, all while dishing out a story or two. Dependable, genuine, and a wealth of knowledge, Mack is a true character and a valued friend to everyone he meets.

Meet Chantz, who grew up in the small town of Plant City, Florida, and brings a bit of Southern charm and grit to everything he does. He’s got a deep appreciation for “outlaw country” music—think Hank Jr.—and enjoys baseball, football, and, of course, belting out tunes when the mood strikes him.
Chantz’s adventures include driving his truck into a washout and spending the night there—an experience he won’t forget anytime soon. He’s also been known to ride four-wheelers during tropical storms, which he calls “character-building.” He roots for the Cincinnati Reds and the Florida Gators and considers obtaining his Volunteer Firefighters Certification and leading his high school in History his greatest achievements.
Quiet, observant, and eager to learn, Chantz leaves an impression with his willingness to pitch in and his infectious enthusiasm. He’s on a mission to explore as many small towns across America as possible and has his sights set on adventures in Germany and Ireland. His thoughtful nature and natural curiosity make him a joy to work with and promises exciting things for his future.
On-Site Tech Manager
Every once in a while you come across one of those guys who just exemplifies “solid”. You know the type: he’s the dude you want next to you in the foxhole; the one who’s “been there, done that” (and did it better than most) but never bragged a single word of it to anyone; the same one you can picture showing up with no clothes, not to cause a ruckus, but because he’s given the shirt off his back to someone who needed it more than he did…and he just didn’t stop there.
We were lucky enough to come across this guy when we were looking for hydraulic hose talent. (Of course that’s a real thing!) He instantly wowed us with his tales of crisscrossing the United States on his motorcycle in his early 20’s (solo!) but has since impressed us even more with his exemplary work ethic and infectious positive attitude.
Six years as an On-Site Hose Tech he has earned his position as the leader of the On-Site team. 100% customer driven he’s willing to chip teeth to get the job done and manages to do it while remaining as cool as the mountain streams he loves to fish.
When he’s not bleeding the black and gold of Lumpkin, he’s sporting the black and red of his beloved Atlanta Falcons. On occasion, he can be found trying to reclaim his teenage years by landing a cool skateboard trick for the neighborhood kiddos, or picking a little guitar while he’s waiting for his latest Belgian ale to finish brewing. He’s the proud husband of his wife, Melissa, and their two children, Seth and Emma.
Senior On-Site Hose Tech
If Bennett Yarbrough were a poker hand, he’d be the one you’d want to keep hidden until just the right moment. Born and raised in Sandy Springs, Bennett is a loyal Braves fan and an accomplished fisherman with a deep love for the great outdoors. Whether he’s working on an art project or planning his next bird-hunting expedition, Bennett brings a quiet intensity to all he does.
He’s been on countless hunting trips across various states, braving rough terrain and unpredictable weather, and “you don’t know until you go” fishing excursions. Among his more impressive feats was scaling a waterfall in pursuit of some elusive wild trout—a story he recounts with a grin and a shrug, as though it’s all in a day’s work.
For Bennett, life’s accomplishments aren’t measured in trophies but in things like building a adrift boat and teaching a child to fish. He’s the sort of person you’d call to handle just about anything, especially if it involves making the right choice, and he’s earned a bit of a reputation for his collection of quips from movies, music, and all things pop culture.

Jacob Chmura, a native of Alpharetta, Georgia, may seem like the quiet type, but get him talking about family or his favorite football team (UGA, Go Dawgs!), and you’ll soon see his true colors. He a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and lists gaming, watching TV, and working on projects as his top hobbies.
Jacob’s adventures have included a memorable, rainy motorcycle ride up Blood Mountain and a thrilling white-water rafting trip. Although he’s not big on wild escapades, he prides himself on his accomplishments, including winning a serious cornhole rivalry against his friend and co-worker, Josh Geers (see below).
Known for his calm demeanor and loyalty, Jacob is a family man through and through. He’s bled UGA red and black for as long as he can remember, and he has a quiet resilience that makes him both reliable and down-to-earth. Whether he’s cheering on his team or helping out a friend, Jacob embodies that dependable, steady quality we all admire.

Chris Bodden was born in Florida and raised in West Georgia, where he honed his artistic side amidst the rolling landscapes and endless blue skies. When he’s not sketching out his latest creation, he’s hiking or riding motorcycles, finding inspiration in nature and adventure. Chris is known for his boundless creativity.
Chris spent 3 years traveling coast to coast for work, two months of which he spent in Alaska, a chapter of his life that serves as both his most adventurous and craziest experience. He has an enthusiastic dedication to his artwork, which he’s been honing for years. His dream? To publish his own book, which he plans to release in 2025.
A thoughtful and introspective man, Chris is all about meeting customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction. He’s laid-back yet committed, with an eye for detail and a knack for understanding people. The kind of person who’s easy to get along with, Chris is ready to take on new challenges with an open mind and a steady heart.

Curtis Winters hails from Dawsonville, Georgia, a town with as many winding country roads as there are fishing spots. Curtis fits right in, armed with a love for hunting, fishing, and classic country music that seems to capture his steady, easy-going nature. Curtis finds joy in spending time outdoors or playing with his kids.
In terms of adventure, Curtis would tell you it’s hard to beat a fishing trip in the murky waters of Mississippi, where he tested his luck against the hard fighting and hard-to-hook alligator gar. He insists he’s not the type for wild, crazy stunts, preferring his adventures to come with a fishing rod in hand rather than, say, a bungee cord. He’s quick to show pride in his accomplishments: starting a landscaping company and raising a family that means the world to him.
Curtis is one of those rare, quietly determined individuals—adaptable and thoughtful. Behind his calm demeanor lies a surprising depth, a kind of enigma of quiet determination, the sort of guy who you know could easily outwit you if he put his mind to it, but who’d just as soon lend you a hand and call it a day.

Raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Eric Byers is what you might call a man of many talents, with an appetite for a good cheesecake (which he’ll insist is pie, not cake). He’s a classic rock fan, an enthusiast of all things outdoors, and a father to two lovely girls whom he counts as his life’s finest achievement. Eric also happens to play guitar, though he’ll humbly tell you he’s no Clapton.
Eric’s hobbies include carpentry, hiking, camping, and cooking. His adventurous spirit took him to Peru, where he wandered solo for two weeks. He also once tried parkour through downtown Atlanta. Ask him about it.
A fan of UGA football, Eric is as loyal as they come, not only to his team but to his values. He has a sharp sense of direction in life, or as one might say, an “internal compass” that keeps him on a steady path. Eric is reliable, thoughtful, and purposeful in all he does, with a knack for solving problems and making things work—even when there are no instructions. Dependable to the core, he’s the guy you’d trust to get you there, wherever “there” might be.

Dustin Campbell grew up in Cumming, Georgia—a place he recalls fondly for its small-town charm. A man with an infectious laugh and a quiet demeanor, when he’s not making his daughter laugh or helping her build digital realms in Roblox, he’s working on his car or taking his 4-wheeler out for an off-road joyride.
Ask him about his most adventurous feat, and he’ll tell you, with a bit of pride, about his foray into drifting—a pastime that combines speed, skill, and just enough thrill to keep Dustin coming back for more. His craziest memory, though, involves scaring a bear out of his truck when the family were on vacation.
A true fan of Georgia sports teams, Dustin roots faithfully for the Falcons, Bulldogs, and Braves. His life’s crowning achievement is raising his daughter. He’s a dedicated dad, with a penchant for making family gatherings his favorite way to unwind. Quiet, yes, but open up the topic of cars, and Dustin will gladly share his knowledge, not to mention his friendly, laid-back charm.

A TRUE AMERICAN MAN
Born in 1943, on a farm in Macon, Georgia, Bill learned the value of a hard day’s work from a very early age. He understood what it took to put food on the table and at 13 sought out his first paying job with a local grocer doing everything from cutting meat and stocking shelves to cashiering and keeping customers happy. Building a solid inner-foundation based on work ethic and family loyalty he learned discipline reaps rewards and saved enough lunch money to buy a Cushman scooter. We’re not sure if it was those fancy wheels he took to the Methodist Church Dance in 1958, or his penchant for storytelling, or perhaps his groovy dance moves, but whatever it was, one pretty young lady, Tish, was smitten enough to stick with him from that point on. By age 16, he’d saved enough money to drive Tish around in style and purchased his first car, a $350, 1950 Ford.
At age 17, he started an Economics Degree at Mercer University, taking on full- and part-time jobs to pay his own way through all four years. He and Tish married at the beginning of his senior year at Mercer and moved into their first apartment shortly thereafter. They paid $45 per month in rent! Bill then earned his MBA in Management at Georgia State University before joining the National Guard. The next six years in the military took them from Georgia to Alabama to Maryland, as he continued his service to our country as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic while at the same time diving headfirst into his corporate career.
Bill proved invaluable in the corporate world rising to leadership positions at Amoco Oil, Levitz Furniture and eventually Anchor Coupling all over a span of 26 years. But even with all the successes in his professional career, there was still an itch to do more. To be better. To challenge himself at a greater level. So, in 1991, in the spirit of American entrepreneurship, he and his son, Wil, opened Lumpkin Industries, Inc.
Bill served as President and CEO of Lumpkin Industries for nearly 18 years, and built the solid foundation of unmatched quality, workmanship, and unparalleled service that our customers have come to know and trust. He had a vision of doing more in an industry he was passionate about and felt blessed to live in a country where he was given the freedom to pursue his dreams. He retired in 2009, but it was impossible to keep him away from the shop. We kept an office open for him so we could take advantage of his wisdom he was always willing to share. We relished in having him as our steady mentor, our go-to guy for business or personal advice, our company historian, and consummate spinner of tales!
A life-long dream, and his favorite place on earth, he could often be found with Tish on the back deck of their North Carolina mountain cabin sipping a cold cocktail while gazing at the most gorgeous sunsets imaginable. He enjoyed the simple things in life: a wonderful marriage to Tish, quality family time with his kids and grandkids, and making and sharing good memories with old and new friends.
Bill passed away in 2021, but he left something for us all that is way more impactful and important than any resume’ accomplishment: a legacy. A legacy of how to be a better person. He taught all of us that strength comes through quiet confidence. That kindness always finds its way into the heart. And that love of God, family, friends, and country makes for a wonderful life.
Bill Lumpkin: a true American man.

OUR HISTORY
We ARE Lumpkin Industries. We didn’t just make up that name; it IS our name. It’s our family name. The same family who has spent generations here in Georgia long before Wilson Lumpkin was elected Governor in 1831, and Lumpkin County was named in his honor. We’re true Georgians starting from the word “peach”. Or perhaps we should say “peanut” to maintain some sense of masculinity.
Not only do we own Lumpkin Industries, we employ family at every level of our business, from leadership roles in sales and operations all the way through to the professionally trained technicians. And when you attach your family name to your business, some pretty remarkable things happen. Your business represents you as a person, and in our case, as men. Our true character is at play in every business decision made. So when we say we are the best in the industry, we have to work like hell to make sure we’re living up to our word. We have both our business reputation and our personal reputation at risk.
Honesty and integrity aren’t just buzz words to us, they’re simply the way we conduct our business.
Lumpkin. It’s more than just our name; it’s the name our customers have come to trust.
